On 22.11.2007, the Philips Panorama 1.0 T was assembled in its final location with great technical effort in the main building of the Charité in Berlin-Mitte. To allow the MRI to be delivered, the Luisenstraße had to be blocked the entire day. At about 10 am a special crane lifted the 6,5 ton device into the first floor of the building. The building was stripped of its facade to allow delivery and assembly.
