Today our research group’s first problem based study session was held. A case was presented and worked on by six of our project members. Over the next six weeks a total of five study cases involving clinical and physical issues of MRI will be worked on.
Apart from medical research, we are also concerned about the transfer and exchange of the knowlege between our group’s members and partners. Herein, it is important to find innovative methods which permit the transfer of expertise on the rapid developements within our field of research. As a part of our project, and in cooperation with the “Reformstudiengang” (RSM) of the Charité, we are trying to establish innovative means by which we can meet these requirements.
POL (problem oriented learning) is a didactic method to pointedly acquire knowlege in small groups. The concept consists of a combination of group discussion and individual research on a certain topic. Our ultimate goal is to transfer this concept so successfully established with the RSM to the innovative medium of live online collaboration (LOC).
