MGB – “Endoscopy Everywhere”
MGB Endoskopische Gerate GmbH Berlin is a part of the MGB family which has alliance with Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Seoul. MGB engages in manufacturing of high-quality endoscopic equipment for minimal-invasive surgery and exports both accessories and complete systems to about 30 countries world-wide. The products are being manufactured in MGB’s own production facility, their long lasting quality is based on technological know-how and mechanical precision. Thus, the high integration of all systems is guaranteed.
MGB takes an active role in research. With its own R&D department MGB was able to develop products that have set new standards in endo-surgery. Several projects have been funded by the German government and are being tested by leading German university professors and clinics.
With a qualified team of developers and skilled workers the MGB produces endoscopic systems and components for the laparoscopy, arthroscopy, urology and gynaecology. They are compatible to most currently existing systems. The constant quality is assured by EN ISO 9001 / EN 13485 certification.
In collaboration with the Charité and the Open MRI research group, MGB is currently working with two of the subprojects on designing a MR-compatible endoscope.
