The study group open MRI is mainly involved in clinical and technical joint projects to develop innovative instruments and new therapeutic methods with the goal of clinical implementation in open high-field MRI. The study group’s focus is research, and no direct commercial or financial goals are persued. The technical know-how is provided by highly specialized, small and medium businesses from the medical technology sector, while clinical expertise is contributed by the Charité’s internationally renown medical centres. The projects are organized in a comprehensive manner and are coordinated by the study group open MRI (CC6) of the Charité Berlin.
